Community Involvement
Having been part of the Geelong community since 1854, Fagg's Mitre 10 and our team play an active role in supporting a large number of Geelong community organisations. We take our community responsibilities seriously - one of four stated Company Objectives is ".. to be a responsible corporate citizen" (see Values section).
Give Where You Live
To enable us to help as many local beneficiaries as we can, Fagg's Mitre 10 actively supports Give Where You Live.
Give Where You Live is a charitable organisation dedicated to reducing education, income and health disadvantage in the Geelong Region. Formerly United Way Geelong Region, Give Where You Live works on one simple yet powerful concept: together, we achieve more. We're a volunteer-led, non-profit organisation which improves the Geelong region through building capacity and mobilising resources within our community; improving lives and creating positive, long term social change. Our role is to raise money from people and businesses in the Geelong region and be accountable for the stewardship of the money. Through a transparent process, we allocate the money to local community service organisations.
Community BBQs
Individual local community groups benefit substantially from the sausage sizzles that take place most weekends in our car parks at both South Geelong and Wallington. These collectively raise over $25,000 each year for their respective organisations.

The CEO and Directors of Fagg's Mitre 10 are actively involved in local organisations, including Rotary, the Geelong Community Foundation, Salvation Army Advisory Board and Rural Ambulance Victoria. We are also involved with G21, The Committee for Geelong and the Geelong Chamber of Commerce.
